Named Best Place to Live in Wales, Narberth is lovely town in the heat of Pembrokeshire, not far from well know beach resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby. The pretty High Street is made up of multi coloured Georgian and Edwardian architecture with an array of independently owned businesses, including florists, butchers, bakers and art galleries and according to The Sunday Times Narberth is among the best places to live in Wales.
With the arts at its heart Narberth has had a regeneration over the years and over the last twenty years or so has become a centre for live music, food and art.
With shops like Rock ‘n’ Dough Narberth it is easy to pop into town for a bottle of milk and soon be distracted by something delightful, or perhaps a quick look at clothes stores like Jago and Tom Hughes, for something a little more arty then hours can be lost wondering around the Golden Sheaf.
When it comes to eating out around Narberth we are totally spoilt, with amazing places like Mad Toms, Alwyn, Ultracomida, Hwb, The Angel Inn, The Plas Inn and Plum Vanilla Cafe. Just outside the town but worthy of a mention in The Grove of Narberth an award winning restaurant and rooms.
